FlyAddicts.com’s is excited to announce the winners of it’s first photo contest.  The contest’s theme was, “The Places We Fish,”  and there is no denying that you guys/gals have the privilege of fishing in some of the most beautiful places in the world.  We can’t tell you how difficult it was to be a part of judging this contest.  We’d also like to mention that the photos from west of the Mississippi really brought it, so the next time around, we’d like to see the East Coasters show the West that they’ve got some purdy fishin’ spots, too…

Before we announce the winners, we’d like to express a a huge thank you to The Fly Shop, Bugslinger Fly Gear, Midwest Custom Fly Rods, and the FlyAddicts Book & DVD Store for donating some very generous prizes to the contest.  We’d also like to thank each photographer who submitted photographs.  Without you, this wouldn’t be possible.

Congratulations to Jason Morrison who sent in the 1st place photograph, below, of the beautiful Madison River.

I love the Madison river for its impressive scenery.  The mist coming off the water adds to the feeling of serenity I felt when fishing the Madison this year.

2nd Place
