During the fall of 2009 we left Juneau AK and headed south in search of Silvers, during what is typically the heart of the season. We explored a number of drainages that should have been full of Silvers – but there were none to be found. We did, however, find that the river were overrun with masses of Pink Salmon, and while we were not very concerned with fishing to these already colored-up fish, we spent a fair amount of time just watching the end of a great migration… The video above includes a collection of random shots from the trip.
